The spark tester is an All-in-One Configuration-- display panel and spark tester-- with an RS-485 serial interface that can receive and respond to digital commands. Spark tester voltage can be set or verified, the fault count and interlock status can be monitored, and many other tasks can be performed by computer or PLC.
This configuration is a remote spark tester (without a display) and an RS-485 serial interface that can receive and respond to digital commands from a computer or PLC. This arrangement allows the ARC Remote Display to be rack mounted or panel mounted as far as 200 feet from the spark tester. A standard RS-485 serial interface can receive and respond to digital commands from a computer or PLC.
The new AC-30 60 cycle spark tester for testing large wire at high voltages. Designed for versatility on the line, the system is comprised of 3 separate components: a rugged electrode with visual/audible alarms, simple string-up, and automatic bead chain placement for full coverage of large products; a digital control unit with on-screen programming that can be located up to 200 feet away; and an electrode stand, adjustable in height. Flexible communication options allow integration into computer controlled lines.
