Spark testers are classified by the type of test voltage applied to the product. Available currents include Alternating Current (AC) and Direct Current (DC). AC Spark testers are of two types: Spark testers that operate at power main frequencies, generally 50 or 60 Hertz and "High Frequency" spark testers that operate at 3kHz. Clinton offers several types of spark testers and a wide range of electrodes, each designed for a particular product type.
The Model FL-111B Cable Fault Locator locates shorts, high voltage shorts and opens in multi-conductor, coaxial shielded cables, without further damage to good product. Defects in expensive cable scrap can then be repaired or cut out.
Quickly and easily calibrate any Clinton Instrument Company spark tester in just minutes.
Highly efficient Air Wipes, manufactured by Marldon Group Ltd., remove excess water from wire, improving the performance of spark testers, printers, and other peripheral equipment. Three styles of air wipes are available: high speed, adjustable orifice, and post-type.
